Presenting my the eggless bread & butter pudding. Hot from d oven kekdahnyer. Kekekekee
Seminggu nie mmg makan makanan berasakan roti je. Sandwich telur, cokodok roti, now... bread pudding. Sebab aritu buat roti sandwich for the 1st time. So... Banyak berbaki. Kekekekeke
Nie dlm misi menghabiskan roti. Don't waste food.
In case of anyone wondering, resepi ni saya cilok dari tarla dalal. Nie resepi dia (lebih kurang laa):
6~8 pcs of bread slices
Butter
Milk ~ 2 cups
Sugar ~ 3/4 cup (can adjust to your own preference; i use only half cup)
Corn flour ~ 2 table spoon
Vanilla essence ~1 teaspoon
Brown sugar ~ 1-2 teaspoon
Saffron ~ 1 pinch (this one saya memandai2 tambah ~ dlm resepi asal xde, sy letak sbb nak tgk kaler pudding tu jadi kuning2)
Method :
1. Butter all the bread. Arrange it in the pre-greased oven dish. Butter side up. And drizzle raisins over it.
2. Add corn flour to the milk. Stir. Make sure it's smooth & not lumpy.
3. Heat the milk + add sugar. Stir continuously until it become thick / reach pudding consistency.
4. Pour the mixture on the prepared bread.
5. Melt 2 teaspoon of butter. Pour evenly on top of the bread pudding mixture.
6. Drizzle some brown sugar over the mixture.
7. Bake in a pre-heated oven for about 30~40 mins (depending on your oven).
8. Let cool for an hour.
9. Ngap.
Dah siap. Sonang yo. Rasa pun sedap (for me laa). Nak makan panas2 pun bile, sejuk2 pun bole. Ikut suka.
